Nezahat Cihan is Vice Chair of the Foundation and has been a member of the Foundation’s Board of Governors since 2014. Nezahat is also Chair of the Governance & Remuneration Committee, Islington Council Community Chest Panel, and Advice projects steering group. She is also a member of the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee.

Nezahat studied Business Administration and completed her postgraduate education in Management Studies. She has worked in the field of free advice provision for around 20 years with various UK charities. Having worked for the London Borough of Haringey in service development for a number of years, she then led multiple UK charities that specialise in the provision of free services to women fleeing from gender-based violence.

Nezahat currently works for London Legal Support Trust as their CEO, managing grant making processes as well as organizational development programs for the free legal advice sector.
