George joined Islington Giving and Cripplegate Foundation as Director of Development and Communications in January 2025. She plays a lead role in amplifying our work, building partnerships with businesses, foundations and donors, and fostering a culture of giving in Islington.

She has worked in various senior fundraising and communications roles with other charities, including Liberty and The Access Project, and has recently worked in grant making at the Joffe Charitable Trust.

George has lived in north London for 25 years and has spent a lot of time in Islington for work and with her young children. She loves the area and is passionate about making it a more equal, connected, healthier and greener place to live.
