Cripplegate Foundation held a second insightful session with some of our local organisations in Islington led by, and supporting, people from marginalised groups.

It was great to reconnect and hear some more detailed updates from Community Language Support, AYBI, Minority Matters, and EAGLE Recovery. The updates included the difference the funding has made on local residents, individuals and families in Islington, and challenges such as general funding uncertainty, capacity and resources, and the cost of living crisis.

“We don’t get funders to (facilitate) meeting other people. What you’re doing here is very unique. Just listening to the stories, you can tell we’re all interconnected, and it’s so inspiring. I think Cripplegate Foundation really understands the challenges that we all have, and I want to thank you so much.”

We really appreciate all the groups for taking the time to be together, and we look forward to seeing more impactful work in Islington.
