Join us for an interactive event at Angel Central in Islington to start a vital conversation on how we see and respond to Domestic Abuse. We want to hear from you—your thoughts, ideas and experiences matter.
Date: Thursday 15th August 2024
Time: 10:30am – 4:30pm
Location: Angel Central Shopping Centre, 21 Parkfield St, London N1 0PS
Domestic abuse affects many, and more work is needed to improve the experiences and outcomes for people impacted by domestic abuse. Additionally, with male violence against women and girls being declared a national emergency, this event aims to raise further awareness of domestic abuse and start vital conversations about how we see and respond to domestic abuse to bring about change.
At Cripplegate Foundation, we believe that change begins with conversation. By sharing your views, you can help shape how we support those affected in our community. Your participation will contribute to a broader understanding and help drive the change we need.

Questions we will askÂ
About usÂ
The Domestic Abuse Development Partners (DADP) project (2022-2027), co-funded by Cripplegate Foundation and City Bridge Foundation, explores how a funder, together with some of its funded partners, could work more closely together to make a deeper impact in improving lives for Islington residents. In other words, it explores how to embed the How Not What relational approach to positively impact the experience of survivors and those working with them. We’re a team with both professional and personal experience of domestic abuse, committed to improving support for women in Islington.
