Cripplegate Foundation supports Islington’s communities with funding, advice, and practical resources. We work in partnership on schemes like the Islington Advice Partnership and Islington Resident’s Support Scheme, fund local groups tackling poverty and inequality, and share research that highlights community needs. Alongside grants, we offer office space, networks, and learning opportunities to help residents and organisations thrive.
For more information about our work or any questions you may have, please visit our FAQs page or contact the Cripplegate Foundation team at grants@cripplegate.org.uk.
Given our long-standing commitment to supporting independent advice work in the borough, we support an Advice Partnership that supports local people with practical and hands-on advice. We also contribute to the Crisis and Resilience Fund, which supports Islington’s residents experiencing financial hardship with emergency assistance and longer-term support.
From practical insights to our impact so far, our research covers a range of issues relevant to our partners, groups and residents. This includes a recent survey to 159 organisations in the borough about their funding priorities and our application process, and articles on relational practice.
We fund and support a range of local groups and organisations which work to address poverty and inequality working in Islington. Follow the link below to read more about these groups. You can also read more about our current funding opportunities by clicking the “Funding” tab.
