Victoria Benson joined as Chief Executive of Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving Giving in September 2026.

Victoria was previously Chief Executive of Gingerbread, the national charity for single-parent families, from 2019 until the end of 2024. Before that, Victoria spent over a decade at Macmillan Cancer Support, where she was Director of Legal and Governance. She began her career as a solicitor and brings with her wide-ranging leadership, governance and charity sector experience.

As a local resident with deep personal roots in Islington, Victoria has enjoys working alongside community organisations and partners across North London.
