Emma joined the Foundation’s Board of Governors in December 2025. She sits on the Programmes Committee and the Islington Giving Grants Committee.

Emma has worked in the field of resident engagement since 2008, not long after she moved to London. Her work involves listening to communities to make health services more inclusive and accessible. She’s worked at local infrastructure organisations Voluntary Action Islington and Healthwatch Islington.

Emma currently works for the NHS at North Central London Integrated Care Board. Her work has a focus on engaging communities and developing how the NHS works with voluntary and community organisations to improve health, well-being and access to healthcare.
