Azar started at Cripplegate in March 2023 as Finance and Resource Officer. She is an ACCA qualified accountant with over a decade of experience working in community-based non-profit organisations. She’s committed to promoting fairness, inclusivity, equality, and diversity in all that she does, and take an empathetic, strength-based approach to working with others.

Azar’s role is crucial in providing the link between the work of our Programme and Development and Communications team and translating this into action by providing the funds to our grantees and beneficiaries in improving the lives of residents in Islington.

Azar loves cooking Persian dishes and walking in sunny days.
