Maggie Elliott joined the Board of Governors in January 2023. Now Vice Chair, Maggie serves as the Chair of the Programme Committee, Islington Council’s Community Chest and Catalyst steering group. Maggie also serves on the Finance & General Purposes Committee.

“It is a great privilege to work with the talented and committed board and staff of Cripplegate, and I look forward to learning and achieving with them,” she says. Maggie is no stranger to Islington, where she has lived for over 25 years. She has been a chair of governors at local primary and secondary schools for much of this time. Maggie has been the chair of another local foundation, Cloudesley, which works closely with Cripplegate, and has been vice-chair of Islington Giving since 2015. In her professional life, Maggie runs a small marketing consultancy providing communications support to financial firms.
