Elizabeth (Liz) King was elected as a Councillor for the City of London (Cripplegate Ward) in March 2022.  She was formally appointed as a Cripplegate Governor by the City of London in December 2022 and is a member of the Foundation’s Programme Committee. Liz has worked in the steel and energy industries in various strategic, corporate finance and planning roles. She also founded and operated the covid pandemic relief charity ‘The Square Mile Food Bank’ in the City of London
